Students and staff from Porter High School were recognized for their outstanding service at the NCISD Board of Trustees meeting on February 9, 2026. 

Porter High School Principal, Bart Miller, and the Board of Trustees recognize Luis Valle (Outstanding Teacher), Elizabeth Gomez (Outstanding Paraprofessional), Elsa Olivares de Gutierrez (Outstanding Custodian), Trang Nguyen (Outstanding Child Nutrition Employee), Kiera Reilly (Outstanding Student-Athlete), Lane Beyer (Outstanding Student-Athlete), Carlos Martinez (Outstanding CTE Student), and Teagan Meyers (Outstanding Fine Arts Student).
